As Lee Myung-bak of Grand Nation Party was elected for president last week, most of Korean get worrying about his health care policy.

President-elected Lee Myung-bak committed publicly that he would promote private health insurance and abolish Compulsory Appointment System of insured items during the election.

Hospitals and pharmacies were forbidden to designate specific disease or sugery for their own insured items by theirselves so far under the Compulsory Appointment System.

President-elected Lee also agreed to turn the medical service into the business section from the public service.

"I will promote the private health care insurance by the level of U.S." President-elected Lee declared on the meeting with the workers for medical service. The speech means that President-elected Lee purses 'American Model' which is famous for the most terrible system on the health care over the world.

The netizen Sangmyung-nara criticizes that the private health care insurance is a cup of poisons for poor class while it is the best supper for medical institutions. he introduced real 'American Model' example classifying people by their premium.

"The medical service should not be sold in the market but protected by the public. It would be very serious trouble if newly elected President Lee really tries to keep his promise", Lim Su-yung, the head of policy department of Korean Health & Medical Workers Union, said.
